Transcription FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q. If I edit the AI-generated, default transcript to perfection--or I just don’t care about the imperfections--can I use the premium features of an upgraded transcript (e.g., burned subtitles, auto-translations, etc.)?
A. No, we only unlock the premium features when you order upgraded transcripts through CUBE365.
Q. If I've already invested in high-quality (Human-generated) Closed Captions for the videos I import do I still have to pay the full $1.50 upgrade fee, and wait for CUBE365 to generate another version in the application?
A. Generally, the answer is yes, we still charge the upgrade fee even (which unlocks premium features), but for CUBE365 accounts with substantial investments in large volumes (e.g., thousands of video minutes) of high-quality, Human-generated Closed Caption files already embedded in videos they plan to ingest, please reach out to us here https://www.cube365.net/about#contact discuss special arrangements and prices.
Q. Does CUBE365 support ingestion and transcription/indexing of videos that are in languages other than English?
A. Not presently, but CUBE365 does support viewing, editing (and subtitling) videos with over 100 languages other than English.
Q. Can I share Transcripts of videos outside of CUBE365--e.g., in the form of Word or .txt files?
A. Yes, such files can be generated with a click of a button for videos for which you order high-quality, human-generated transcripts.
