Understanding ClipPages

A ClipPage is a dedicated web page that's automatically generated for every CUBE365 Clip*. ClipPages are a unique and powerful feature of CUBE365 as they provide:  

• Viewers immediate context by showing the exact location of the Clip within its source video (by way the highlighted bar on the horizontal timeline below the video), and
• Valuable metadata around the Clip and its source video, which is subject to crawling and indexing by popular search engines (e.g., Google and Bing).

Clip Pages automatically change their state depending on:

• The quality of the transcript of a Clip's source Video.  For Clips of Videos with Premium, high quality (Human-generated) transcripts, ClipPages present the full transcripts, which is searchable by the viewer of the page.  But for Clips of Videos with Standard (AI-generated) transcripts, which are subject to more word, grammatical and speaker errors, transcripts are automatically suppressed.  If a Clip is created using a Standard transcript and the video is subsequently upgraded with a Premium transcript, the ClipPage will automatically update to include a viewer-visible transcript when the Premium version is in place.
• The language of the Clip. NOTE: foreign-language versions of Clips are (only) available in videos that have Premium (Human-generated transcripts). For foreign language Clips all metadate associated with the Clip (e.g., title and tags will be translated), along with the full, sychronized transcript of the video.  If the translated Transcript has been pushed to YouTube, the language of the translated clip will be turned on as Closed Captions in the YouTube video player embedded on the ClipPage.

The look and feel of ClipPages can be customized for every CUBE365 Account;  by default, key attributes are picked up from the (last) YouTube Channel linked (or shared) with the Account.  These key attributes include the name, logo/avatar and background graphics of the YouTube Channel.  Alternative ClipPage look and feel options are selectable and configurable using the Manage Account option on the Owner's Account Dashboard.

* Unless a Clip is specifically marked private (by the creator unclicking the default option of 'This Clip is Public' in which case the Clip and the ClipPage will only be visible to the creator of the Clip, while logged into CUBE365.
